MAYFIELD, Ohio — A Northeast Ohio teen has established a new application to assist youngsters from kindergarten to 7th quality study math in an efficient and individualized way.

Mohammad Zoraiz is a junior at Mayfield Significant College. During the summer months, Zoraiz, who uncovered to code and do computer programming a few years back, saw a community news post that cited a Department of Schooling report about schoolchildren shedding proficiency all through on-line discovering.

“I feel it was third quality all the way into eighth grade, there was sizeable drops in proficiency, primarily in math proficiency more than English proficiency,” Zoraiz explained.

The application that Zoraiz made, AchillesMath, earned him an award from Rep. Dave Joyce in OH-14’s Congressional Application Problem.

The application is in progress, but Zoraiz hopes to get public support for it. He also wishes to carry on this style of do the job in the potential.
